Green Poori/Green Parotha

What do you do when you have left-over palak ki sabji? Well, I like making parothas or pooris from it. Here's the recipe...

  • 1 cup left-over palak ki sabji
  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Black pepper to taste (optional)
  • Salt to taste.


  1. Mix all the above ingredients in a bowl to make a tight dough.
  2. If the mix is not tight enough, add some more wheat flour. If the above mix doesn't bind well , add some water to make a tight dough.
  3. Make golf-sized balls of dough and roll it out.
  4. Make pooris by frying in hot oil.
  5. Or make parothas by roasting it on hot griddle.
  6. Serve hot with pickle and curds.
