Ingredients:-
- 500 gms boneless chicken
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
- 1/2 cup chopped carrots
- 2-3 mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon chopped garlic
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- 6 ready chapathis, made from wheat flour or maida.
- chopped onion, chopped tomatoes and shredded cabbage for filling.
Method:-
- Put the chicken in a heavy bottomed pan over medium heat.
- Add onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, carrots, salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Cover and cook for around 45 mins on medium flame till the chicken is well-cooked.
- Once the chicken is cooled, shred the chicken into minute pieces. Hold the chiken with a fork and pull it out with another fork. Or if you don't mind getting messy with your fingers, just pull the chiken apart with your hands. :) That's how I do it!!!
- To assemble the frankie, take the chapathi, place a layer of chicken, top it with chopped onions, tomatoes and cabbage.
- Fold the chapathi into a roll.
- Serve with tomato ketchup.
Happy cooking!!!

Its a nice dish. But instead of chapathi, I like it with Long bread...
The recipe is just a guideline. The stuffing tastes good with long bread. You can also use the cooked tortillas for wrapping the stuffing.

Thanks for the recipe. If I may provide some constructive criticism...you should be more specific (guideline or not) on the ingredients and their preparation. For example, is this boneless chicken breast, thigh, or other? I would assume thigh, but that is only because I know that the thigh is a piece of chicken that can handle 45 minutes cooking and is great for pulling. No big deal though.
